DLC Horror Rating: ☠☠☠☠ (4/5 Skulls)

DLC Review: ★★★★ (4/5 Stars)
For a DLC this was fairly lengthy. Based on the original Layers of Fear story, yet completely different, Inheritance follows a young woman – our LoF protagonists’ daughter – as she re-enters her old home to, as she says, “banish the insanity from her family line”. She doesn’t seem to succeed quite as well and we follow her down a road of memories, good and bad (but mainly bad).
As with the base game, sound, voice acting, graphics and storyline were great, however I did miss the creepy feeling the original gave me even in moments of apparent beauty and relaxation.
